What to Cook When Your Teen Becomes a Vegetarian
When your teenager announces that they've become a vegetarian, it might be hard to imagine what they'll be eating now that they've cut out meat, chicken and fish.  Being a vegetarian doesn't mean just eating vegetables; it requires thinking about alternative sources of protein and complex carbohydrates.

In the first week of this course we'll talk about: the difference between being a vegetarian and a vegan.  We'll explore where to find information about how to eat well on a vegetarian or vegan diet; and we'll talk about some of the new products on the market that provide appetizing and healthy alternative sources of protein.

During the second week, we'll have some hands-on time in the kitchen as we cook up some tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes that everyone in your family will love - even the most committed meat eater.

Teens 13 and older are welcome to attend the class with a parent or other adult.
